If you were born in tiny, cold town in Siberia (nothing have to do with Serbia, Siberia in Russia, folks) you should know that cutlets can be made from MEAT and only from MEAT. I guess about 90% of our daily diet are animals products. People saying is sooo freaking cold in Siberia that average man CAN NOT survive without meat. BULLSHIT. CONSUMING OF MEAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WEATHER (it has to do with intestine, microflora and bacteria). Okay? But today about Meatless cutlets. My little brother liked them even more then traditional one. All you need is oat. Well, almost. Here the recipe:
Boiled water - 2 cups
Oats - 2 cups
1 Mix 2 cups of oats with 2 cups of boiled water
2 Fry onion, garlic, olives with vegetable oil.
3 Mix oats and fried ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4 Mix semolina and flaxseed in another boil.
5 Make cutlets, put them in semolina and flaxseed mix. Each side.
6 Fry in a frying pan, using vegetable oil.
Serve with greens and/or sour cream, vegetable salad.
Now what people do in Siberia during winter (it is can be -40C!)? Answer: They drink vodka and make love with each other.
